‍ ‍ Kathy has devoted the last decade and a half to hairdressing. Early on in her career, she became allergic to most chemicals used in the industry.

After years of brand research, she found that the best of those were few and far between. Even the organic ones. She discovered that most professional hair product companies lie and almost all consumer hair products found online or on shelves contain hormone disrupting ingredients. So she took apart every chemical ingredient piece by piece and did the research individually to filter out which chemicals were harmful.

She’s still continuing her research today. Kathy approaches her craft from a holistic standpoint and will never stop learning, growing and educating.

A month ago, my guest Kristina and I wanted to change it up, so we decided on a Demi permanent red. We did the red process twice. This month we started our journey to get Kristina blonde. Here’s what I did for the first session: . Step 1: Malibu CPR with warm water capped under heat for 20 min, shampoo out with clarifying shampoo and kept the hair damp. Step 2: Applied her base color formula @originalmineral_uk ( 6N & 20vol ) Step 3: Pulled the gloss through the mids and ends @innersensepro color ( 9A, 10A, 9G & 10vol ) Step 4: let process for 30 total minutes . Next time she comes in we will start the balayage process again to continue to get her to the blonde she wants
